I graduated from Watson’s Caritas Coach Education Program on 4/23/17!
It was the single most meaningful and transformative experience of my nursing career.
These are my fellow Caritas Coach graduates from all over the country and globe.
I love each for their compassion and commitment they bring to nursing, patients and humanity. Most are nurses, some are physicians and social workers.
These folks came from the Brigham and Womans Hospital, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Kaiser Permanente Northern CA, Nevada State College, Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, Stanford Healthcare, UNLV, Veterans Affairs Medical Centers; covering Alaska, Arizona, Boston, Colorado, California, Georgia, Maryland, Nevada, Virginia.
We traveled deep into our hearts, minds and souls, and shared it all. It was a deep growth and healing experience.
This program covered how to experience Watson’s Caring Science and Caritas practice, language and literacy. ANCC recognized.
See Jean Watson in the middle smiling big! Ours was the 16th cohort to complete the program.
It was six months of an intensive online program starting in Boston and ending in Boulder, CO.
I thank each of them for their gifts.
