There are several layers to this question and analysis that lie between the domains of nursing science, nursing leadership, nursing practice and the intention of each nurse.
I’m starting with you and me, because if each of us don’t come out of this smarter and healthier than the environment we work in, then nursing and nurses will be surrendering to our inattention to what is happening around us and to us.
For each of us to survive and thrive in our nursing practice and work, we each have to strive to be consistent with our personal nursing intentions.
Yes, this is an individual and personal thing, … a personal process. And it is this and mainly this that will help you overcome the dysfunctions that you work in and the despair that overwhelms you at times.
